Population Change, Census 2020
Population Change (2010–2020) is an interactive web map designed to help users explore shifts in population across the Delmarva Peninsula at both the county and census tract levels. Drawing on official Decennial Census data from 2010 and 2020, this tool visualizes percent change over the decade, highlighting areas of growth and decline in a clear, color-coded format.
This application provides a geographic lens into local migration patterns, demographic shifts, and regional trends. Stakeholders can use it to pinpoint areas experiencing notable expansion or population loss—critical insights for infrastructure planning, school district assessments, housing development, and economic forecasting.
Color gradients represent the degree of population change, from strong growth to population decline, allowing planners and decision-makers to focus on areas of interest quickly and effectively.
