This site publishes publicly available data along with content created by the Delmarva Index. Our intention is to promote data accessibility and empower Delmarva decision-makers. This effort is in good faith. We hope you find The Index and its resources beneficial. Anyone having concerns or disagreeing with our disclaimer should refrain from using this site and its contents.

The data may be used and redistributed for free but is not intended for legal use, since it may contain inaccuracies. The User assumes the entire risk associated with its use of these data and bears all responsibility in determining whether these data are fit for the User's intended use. The information contained in these data is dynamic and will change over time. The data are not better than the original sources from which they were derived, and both scale and accuracy may vary across the data set. The Delmarva Index is committed to the responsible use of personal and sensitive information. Any information provided by users such as email address, username, and first name are stored in a secure database which is accessible only to website administrators. This information is collected solely for the purpose of user verification for interactive functions such as “likes” and comments.
To make an optimal user experience we may collect the non-personally identifiable information your web browser shares while visiting The Index. The information we may leverage includes the Internet domain, Internet Protocol address, browser software, operating system, and date/time of your visit.

We use Google Analytics to monitor usage for the sole purpose of improving site functionality. Google Analytics places cookies on the user’s end to monitor the experience. User information is collected at the IP Address level and these data are aggregated up. We make no attempt to connect collected information with personally identifiable information.
