Percent Change in Race and Ethnicity, Census 2020
Percent Change: Race and Ethnicity (2010–2020) is an interactive mapping tool designed to visualize demographic shifts across Delmarva by racial and ethnic groups. Using 2010 and 2020 Decennial Census data, the application allows users to explore changes in population composition by race and ethnicity at the census tract level.
This web app highlights trends in the Hispanic or Latino population, as well as changes in the Black or African American, Asian, White, and American Indian and Alaska Native populations. The color-coded symbology and proportional symbols make it easy to identify where significant increases or declines occurred—supporting equity planning, community engagement, and targeted outreach strategies.
