U.S. Census Bureau

The County Business Patterns (CBP) is an annual series, provided by the United States Census, that provides subnational economic data by industry. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is the standard in classifying business establishments related to the U.S. business economy. This dataset holds the CBP series for 2005, 2010, 2016, 2018, and 2019, regarding the number of establishments, employment during the week of March 12, first quarter payroll, and annual payroll.
